This is the testimony of the American physician Dr. Lawrence Dunegan from 1988. On March 20, 1969, he was present at a meeting at the Lamont Restaurant of the Pittsburgh Pediatric Society. Dr. Richard Day was the speaker for the evening and spoke for more than two hours to the approximately 80 physicians in attendance. During his talk, he outlined elitist plans for the future, which he wanted to share with the audience so they could better prepare for what was to come. Dr. Day asked everyone to turn off all tape recorders and stop taking notes so that he could tell them, the prospective leaders of organised medicine, what was going to happen in the future. Dr. Dunegan sensed that Dr. Day's message would be important, ignored the request and noted the points made by him on a set of table napkins.
